My passion for technical recruiting drives my work. I have a natural curiosity for technology, engineering and architecture and love seeing its applications in making our world a better place. From medical device inventions, autonomous machines, to new sports stadiums, I love seeing local companies – and their employees – create new life-improving innovations and spaces. We’ve helped many customers grow from small companies to large corporations; it’s always exciting to see these companies and their technical staff thrive and improve.
I also deeply care about our local community impact. Our community has helped us tremendously over the past 50 years, and therefore, I strive to give back wherever I can. I’m an active board member of Cookie Cart, a nonprofit bakery that teaches lifelong work and leadership skills to young adults and future leaders. Watching their young adults thrive while being surrounded by encouraging, growth minded adults is a joy and gives me great hope for their future.
More About Me:
I learned the virtues of hard work and teamwork while growing up on a dairy farm in southern Minnesota, surrounded by five sisters and nine brothers. I earned my degree in Human Resources at Winona State University and worked for two national staffing companies before becoming an owner at Konik.
Outside work, I’m passionate about fitness and weightlifting, and am currently training for my 29th marathon. I also love traveling, meeting people from around the world, and hearing their life stories. I’ve learned we have so much more in common – and very similar dreams – than I ever imagined.
