Meet the Team:
Brad Konik, CEO of Konik, brings over 25 years of leadership and relationship-driven expertise to the firm he acquired from his father, George, in 2000. A Harvard University graduate and former captain of the hockey team, Brad also played professionally with the Providence Bruins before joining Konik. Guided by the company’s core purpose—to positively impact people’s lives—Brad oversees client and employee relations while continuing his father’s legacy of building lasting partnerships. Beyond Konik, he has served on the board of Hope4Youth, supporting efforts to combat homelessness, and serves on the Board of Advisors at Manufacturers Alliance. Brad lives in Lakeville, Minnesota, with his wife, Erin, and their two boys, and enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, golfing, fishing, and boating.
Jaffrey Blanks, Managing Director at Konik Technical Talent Network, brings over 20 years of recruiting expertise to the table—specializing in placing engineering, manufacturing, and architecture talent in roles that align deeply with both candidates’ aspirations and companies’ strategic goals. A graduate of Drake University with a degree in Human Resource Management and Sales Marketing, Jaffrey is deeply passionate about making meaningful human connections in the hiring process. At Konik, he leads client partnerships and mentors his team, focusing on integrity, community, and long-term fit. Outside the office, he loves being a father of four, coaching youth sports, traveling (especially on national park adventures), and giving back through nonprofit work.
Rhett Struve is an Executive Recruiter at Konik, focusing on engineering and manufacturing placements for companies in the Minneapolis area. He studied biology from the University of South Dakota. Rhett brings a curious and conversational approach to connecting technical professionals with the right opportunities—listening to candidates’ career goals and helping clients find exceptional talent. Outside the office, you’ll find Rhett enjoying Minnesota’s lakes and outdoors with his wife in the spring and summer, and switching into fall-and-winter mode, cheering on the Vikings and hunting.
