Peter Toninato
Account Executive
Peter graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a bachelor’s degree in history in 2016. For the last 10 years, his professional career has been centered around service and building relationships; from bartending to off-premises liquor sales, then transitioning to staffing sales in 2021. Meeting new people and working together to come up with creative solutions is a passion he brings to each of his roles. His areas of focus at Konik are Engineering and Construction. When he isn’t working, he is spending time with his girlfriend and daughter, his friends, and/or doing something sports-related.
What are your hobbies?
All things sports, from playing to watching.
If you could live anywhere for one year, where would it be and why?
If I could live anywhere for a year, I would pick anywhere moderately warm by the ocean. I love the water and find myself able to lose all track of time as I observe the crashing waves.
What is your taste in music?
I enjoy country music the most, but my tastes are primarily driven by mood and environment. It doesn’t take much for me to tap along to a song
What is one piece of advice you would give to a jobseeker?
The advice I’d give to any prospective job seeker is to be proactive. For those who are just starting their career, there are plenty of ways to demonstrate experience without having that first job. Design and execute your own projects, participate in relevant local events, etc. Many in hiring positions that look to bring on junior employees are looking for passion and work ethic above all else. For those who have already begun their journey, you already have a network you’ve been cultivating through professional relationships. I believe you’ll find people eager to help as long as you ask.
