Scott Fanum
Business Development Manager
Scott graduated from Minnesota State, Mankato, with a degree in Communications and Economics. He began his career as a National Recruiter for a local staffing and recruiting company. He then transitioned to recruiting local Engineers, Architects, and skilled manufacturing positions. After five years of recruiting, Scott moved into Account Management and Business Development for the same company, where he moved his way up the ranks over the next 20 years. In early 2025, Scott joined the Konik team in his current Business Development Manager role.
What are your hobbies?
I love golfing, walking my two dogs, and spending as much time as possible with my wife, Michelle, and my kids, Megan and Cody.
If you could live anywhere for one year, where would it be and why?
Paris, France. I’ve always wanted to go, and it is centrally located, so I can explore the rest of Europe over a 12-month period.
What is your taste in music?
Everything. My playlist on shuffle can go from Metallica to Frank Sinatra and anything in between.
What is one piece of advice you would give to a jobseeker?
Do your homework. Familiarize yourself with the company and the position you are interviewing for.
