Konik is partnering with a growing medical device manufacturer in the southwest metro seeking to add an experienced Lead Quality Control Specialist to their team. In this role, you will maintain quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products while recording quality results. You will also be responsible for gathering data and analysis for Quality Engineers.

In this Quality Control Specialist role, you’ll be empowered to:

  • Support quality inspections on the production floor for incoming inspections

  • Build products as needed for testing purposes

  • Approve release of lost at contract manufacturers by reviewing DHRs, confirming specifications, performing a visual examination, and taking variable measurements

  • Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, performing a visual examination

  • Generate NCR/Deviation Reports

  • Work with engineers to review new and modified lab procedures

  • Document inspection results by completing reports, logs, and inputting data into the database

  • Support facilitation of audits and inspections administered by health authorities, third parties, and partners as assigned by the manager

Your background includes:
  • Associates Degree, Engineering Technology
  • 3+ years of medical device document control experience
  • Experience working with document control software
  • Excellent attention to detail
