Konik is seeking a manufacturing technician for a client located in the Maple Grove area and will be responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing operations in daily support of products, processes, materials, and equipment to achieve production goals (i.e., quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and safety).

In this Medical Manufacturing Technician role, you’ll be trusted to:

  • Observes and complies with all safety rules and regulations.
    • This includes QSR and ISO Standards.
  • Participates in the Material Review Board (MRB) decision process.
  • Identifies and implements corrective actions for manufacturing-related issues.
  • Identify and troubleshoot process, material, or equipment problems to minimize down time
  • Performs equipment setup and corrective, preventive, and calibration maintenance as necessary.
  • Revise existing documents, processes, and/or methods to correct or improve processes/product
  • Work with vendors/suppliers to procure and install tooling, fixtures, and/or equipment
  • Installs and validates equipment and processes in the production area to improve yield and/or reduce cycle time following the established validation procedure.
  • Evaluate operating data to conduct online adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment. May develop or revise documents and procedures.
  • Certifies manufacturing associates in the production processes.

As an Medical Manufacturing Technician, you’ll bring:

  • Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience (2+years) in a related discipline
  • Strong hands-on mechanical skills.
  • Self-motivated to seek out opportunities to improve business performance.
  • Communicates well with peers about issues/problems that arise.
  • Medical manufacturing background strongly preferred but not required
  • Computer skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
