As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll be trusted to:

  • Developing internal and external manufacturing processes for life-saving medical products.
  • Lead and collaborate in designing, implementing, validating, and supporting manufacturing equipment, fixtures, tools, and processes.

You’re the type of person who enjoys:

  • Collaborating with product development on device designs to ensure superior manufacturability
  • Translating design requirements into process and equipment requirements
  • Collaborating on risk management activities such as FMEAs and process FMEAs
  • Developing, executing, and documenting equipment qualifications and process validations, including IQ/OQ/PQ plans and reports
  • Performing Measurement system analysis (MSA) Gage repeatability and reproducibility (GRR), design of experiments (DOE), statistical process control (SPC), and capability analysis to develop, troubleshoot, and control processes
  • Supporting test method and inspection method development and validation used during design verification, process validation, and commercial manufacturing
  • Developing, implementing, and supporting production documentation, including manufacturing procedures, routers, and bill of materials (BOM)
  • Utilizing tools including value stream mapping, overall equipment effectiveness, and 5S to understand and improve quality, labor efficiency, throughput, and cycle time
  • Providing engineering support to customers, equipment suppliers, and contract manufacturers
  • Providing project communication to team members, customers, contract manufacturers, and stakeholders
  • Supporting product complaint investigations and reports
  • Supporting CAPA/NCR/SCAR investigations and reports

  • Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent; Master’s degree preferred
  • 7+ years of accomplishments in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or related industry required
  • Six sigma black belt preferred
  • Experience in plastic injection molding, automated assembly processes, and equipment specifications 
  • Knowledge of GMP, CFR, ISO, QSR, and other regulations
  • Experience creating, writing, and executing process/equipment IQ/OQ/PQ validations, including test method validations
