A Project Architect will possess a Bachelor’s Degree, Architecture and licensed thru the AIA or NCARB. Upon graduation, the Architect often begins as an Intern Architect, Architectural Designer, and Architect.  This path is ideal for becoming a team leader and eventually firm principal.  Many Project Architects decide to start their own company and work independently, or build a staff of designers and architects over time.

The Project Architect will support a Project Manager in completing new construction, remodeling, and addition projects on schedule and within budget.

As a Project Architect, you’ll be empowered to:

  • Collaborate with Project Managers to complete projects on time and within budget
  • Provide expertise during client meetings
  • Create feasibility studies, conceptual designs, and site plans.
  • Works in all stages of a project from SD, DD, CD to CA
  • Consult with engineering and consultants
  • Manage drawing sets and guide Intern Architects and Drafters to ensure accuracy in drawings

You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture; Registration is a plus
  • 4 – 15 years+ experience
  • Experienced with Revit and MS Office; Sketchup, InDesign, Photoshop, Bluebeam a plus
  • Proficient knowledge and understanding of building codes, design, and construction
  • High-level communication skills
  • Experience working on State, Federal, and publicly bid projects is ideal
