Konik is partnering with a top engineering consulting firm with an immediate opening for an Electrical Designer with Revit experience to work on healthcare, commercial and retail projects.
As a Revit Designer, your typical day may include:
- Creating lighting layouts and designs for world-class building
- Gathering electrical data from clients, architects, and other disciplines
- Coordinating work and construction documents with other external teammates (civil and structural engineers, architects, food service companies)
- Sizing conduit and route on drawings and in Revit and AutoCAD models
- Using your expertise to perform voltage drop calculations, short circuit calculations
- The layout of electrical equipment (panel boards, transformers, receptacles)
- Editing schedules for panel boards, motors, lighting fixtures, lighting controls, etc.
- Effectively estimating hours and scope of work to contribute to the creation of budgets and project schedules
You’ll Bring:
- 2-year Associates degree in drafting and design
- Proficiency in Revit
- 3 – 10 years experience drafting power distribution and lighting for commercial building projects
